Michael Ari Fried is the president of Aftermath Consulting Group, LLC. Michael has extensive experience and training in all aspects of comprehensive claims handling dating back to 2002. In that time, Michael has represented both carriers and consumers in complex and large losses on a management or supervisory level as well as in the field. Specific training and education include but are not limited to Executive General Adjuster (EGA), Commercial Claims designation through Travelers-St. Paul Insurance Company, IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying, Fire and Smoke Remediation Technician (WRT/ASD & FSRT), OSHA 10 and several other industry specific designations. Michael was a successful project manager for one of the largest Mitigation and emergency response contractors in the world. Michael has adjusted claims or provided expert opinions in every major catastrophe since 2004. Notable named storms include Hurricanes Francis, Jeanne, Katrina, Rita, Wilma, Irene, Issac, Ike, Sandy, Harvey, Irma, Maria and Michael. Notable Tornado’s include Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Dallas (multiple), Moore and Joplin. Bastrop wildfires, dozens of large hail storms and many other major events in and around the United States, including Puerto Rico.

Michael is a dedicated husband and father, is a member of many chambers of commerce, a proud Roatarian, elected officer (Treasurer) of the Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, (TAPIA) slated to be the president in 2022, is an elected member to the Board of directors for the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) and has jointly created continuing education courses approved in Texas.
